With Give Us The Finger, Oura challenged wellness culture at its core. At a time when the industry is obsessed with performance, optimization, and erasing age, Oura took a clear stand: the goal isn’t to stay young. It’s to grow older—well. Grounded in the brand’s belief in longevity, the campaign reframed aging as aspirational and intentional. Not something to fight or fix, but something to claim with confidence. Presence over pressure. Vitality over vanity. A life measured not by youth preserved, but by years well lived. The work features a deliberately diverse cast of real people in their 50s through late 70s, captured in moments of focus, movement, and quiet triumph. No clichés. No nostalgia. Just capability, self-possession, and lived-in strength. The campaign title operates as a bold double entendre—both a cultural provocation around aging and a literal reference to the Oura Ring’s placement on the index finger. Give Us The Finger launched across film, out-of-home, digital, social, and experiential touchpoints, culminating in a New York City activation where older adults raised their ringed index fingers to hail yellow taxis—giving the city a joyful, defiant “finger.” By rejecting fear-based wellness and anti-aging rhetoric, Oura reframed longevity as a privilege and aging as something to be proud of. Not a decline to be managed, but a life force to be lived.
