To reveal Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, we didn’t release a trailer – we launched a company. Our new company, The Guild, was introduced as a believable new AI protection-tech startup, “going public” through the same channels real companies use: podcasts, newsletters, Reddit, and premium tech and finance publications – culminating in a Times Square/NASDAQ takeover and a dystopian bell-ringing ceremony. By borrowing the language, aesthetics, and trust signals of Silicon Valley and Wall Street, the campaign blurred the line between fiction and reality - mirroring the game’s 2035 world of surveillance, automation, and unchecked power. When the truth was revealed, the campaign snapped into focus: The Guild wasn’t a solution for the future – it was its greatest danger. And that realization marked the official reveal of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. The launch didn’t just announce a game. It made the future feel uncomfortably real.
