Fanatics Games reimagined the traditional athlete appearance by putting 50 of the world’s biggest athletes and celebrities head-to-head against 50 everyday fans across eight sports. Competitors battled for a $1 million grand prize, a Ferrari and a $250,000 Messi card, with Justin Bieber ultimately taking the title. Part live competition, part entertainment spectacle, Fanatics Games was designed for both a live event and the internet, generating more than 50 million organic views and 25 billion impressions. Instead of bringing fans closer to the game, Fanatics put them in it.
