The Nolan Ryan Bloody Lip Jersey was created to celebrate one of the most unforgettable moments of Nolan Ryan’s career—and one that perfectly embodies his legendary toughness. In 1990, Ryan was struck in the face by a line drive off the bat of Bo Jackson, suffering a bloody lip but refusing to leave the game. Rather than simply commemorating the moment with a traditional jersey, the goal was to turn the story itself into the giveaway.
