BRSG, a condom brand in Korea, turned one of women’s most private moments into a signal for health.
Up to 80% of women in Korea experience vaginitis, yet early symptoms often resemble common bodily changes such as premenstrual conditions, making them easy to overlook. Even though worsening symptoms can lead to complications, many women continue their daily lives without recognizing the condition.
BRSG focused on a simple truth:
while symptoms can be ignored, self-pleasure cannot.
By leveraging self-pleasure—the moment of closest contact with the vagina—BRSG enables women to recognize vaginitis without changing their behavior.
BRSG applied a pH-responsive litmus material to the packaging of a finger condom used during self-pleasure. After use, the user presses the package with a finger carrying bodily fluid to check for vaginal pH imbalance. If vaginitis is detected, the litmus turns into a red QR code, instantly connecting the user to nearby clinics for booking.
