Autism can be detected early – but often isn’t.
Not because the technology doesn’t exist, but because the process depends on something unpredictable: a toddler’s attention.
EarliTec Diagnostics’ EarliPoint™ system uses eye-tracking to identify early signs of autism. But to work, a child needs to watch a screen for around 15 minutes – something many young children, especially those on the spectrum, struggle to do in unfamiliar clinical environments.
The EarliShow started with a simple question: what if entertainment could help the system work?
In partnership with Aardman Animations, we turned storytelling into a clinical tool. Using eye-tracking data from real diagnostic sessions, we identified four engagement-driving traits that naturally hold a child’s attention – multicharacter interaction, rich nonverbal social cues, engaging backgrounds, and diverse focus.
We didn’t create anything new. We simply found what already worked.
Those scenes were curated into a single, fixed playlist and embedded directly into every EarliPoint™ device. No interactivity, no prompts, no messaging – just a calm, familiar viewing experience.
The child watches a show. The system captures the data it needs.
The EarliShow redefines branded entertainment – not as something that interrupts or persuades, but as something that quietly enables care.
