Turns out patients and doctors still need help having better conversations. The approach to year two of the Get Specific campaign was shaped by the audience reaction from year one. The success of the first campaign evolved organically, and the public response revealed more ways doctors and patients were still struggling to communicate. And we know when communication breaks down, care can too. So, we doubled down on our mission: remove those barriers and help patients get the care they need. This inspired us to create new sketches with fresh insights and conversations. And to lead the charge? We put our resident conversation conjurer back on duty. He’s baaack! Clyde the Guide is here for the sequel to banish that awkward exam room energy for good. He’s the doctor discussion guide personified, and yes, he’s still using empathy and humor to tackle the uncomfortable, confusing and often unspoken moments that derail productive doctor-patient conversations. This time, he takes on new challenges to empower patients to get specific, advocate for themselves, and gain the confidence to take control of their care. Get Specific was highlighted as one of the standout creative initiatives for the brand. Our edutainment approach proved that focusing on the patient experience, and the critical conversations that lead up to getting on an effective treatment, rather than the product itself can be just as effective in seeing real results. This campaign didn’t just encourage better communication—it helped make it happen.
