Detected early, most cancers have a survival rate over 90%, yet 50% of people worldwide (and 70% in the US) are behind on their cancer screenings. Work is one of the main reasons.
ScreeningTimeOff is an HR innovation : a new workplace right to pause work for cancer screenings.
To convince both CEOs and employees, we partnered with actress Jenna Fischer, who was diagnosed with triple-positive breast cancer during a routine screening.
Her popularity as America’s sweetheart and her strong connection to office culture made her the ideal ambassador to rally both leaders and employees around the cause, turning them into advocates for Screening Time Off.
Already implemented by 14 major companies (covering 1.8 million employees), it has since been customized in various ways (on-site screenings, insurance-covered costs, and more).
By making preventive care a formal workplace policy, the initiative removes logistical and emotional barriers and makes life-saving screenings accessible.
