The 2025 Creator Mental Health Study was a landmark survey of 542 working creators across North America, conducted by Creators 4 Mental Health and Lupiani Insights & Strategies with academic advisors affiliated with the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, UCLA, Pew Research Center and The AAKOMA Project.
The findings revealed a workforce in crisis: 62% of creators experienced burnout, 69% faced financial stress, nearly two thirds reported anxiety or depression, 1 in 10 reported suicidal ideation related to their work and 9 in 10 lacked access to specialized mental health support.
The study has since been cited by media outlets, researchers and industry leaders, establishing it as one of the most comprehensive sources of data on creator mental health. Its November 2025 launch drove 2.94M+ estimated views and 653M+ in combined audience reach across 28 pieces of coverage, including Forbes, Yahoo, Entrepreneur and Fast Company. Its findings continue to shape C4MH’s educational content, advocacy, care programs and further work with Harvard, helping move the conversation beyond individual resilience toward the systemic responsibility of platforms, brands and the broader creator industry.
