With nearly every hospital in Gaza targeted, over half forced to shut down, and medical infrastructure in ruins, healthcare workers are left to perform life-saving tasks with dwindling resources and constant threat. In the midst of this devastation, the fight for survival extends beyond bombs—it is a battle to preserve healthcare itself. "I Know" is a powerful film that calls for global action, shedding light on the dire conditions faced by healthcare workers and patients in Gaza. In this unflinching portrayal, patients undergo surgery without anaesthesia, cancer patients and pregnant women are denied essential care, and newborns cling to life in failing incubators. For every 24 hours of war, two healthcare workers lose their lives. The film intimately follows these brave individuals as they struggle to keep healthcare alive in one of the most challenging environments. The filmmakers immersed themselves in the personal stories of those on the frontlines, allowing viewers to experience the daily fight for health and dignity. "I Know" stands as a tribute to the resilience and courage of Gaza’s healthcare professionals, highlighting their unwavering commitment in the face of unimaginable adversity.
