Music is the emotional backbone of the film. Sohar, a traditional folk song sung across parts of northern India to celebrate the birth of a child, is intentionally reimagined here. While Sohar is usually a song of joy, in this film it is used as a prayer and a hope. The lyrics were carefully rewritten while preserving the original structure, tone, and cultural integrity of the song. Performed in an authentic folk style, with raw, unpolished vocals, the music retains its ritualistic quality, grounding the film deeply in lived tradition. When the baby finally cries, the music shifts naturally into celebration, making the release deeply earned and profoundly moving.
