Gameday/In-Game Experience

Entries in this medium enhance the experience of fans in attendance at a sporting event. This can be a recurring experience, one-time experience, or anything in between.

 

Categories

  • Digital/Mobile Fan Engagement – Entries in this category are for any digital media that is used to provide an experience and/or gives the user the ability to interact through technology.
  • Food & Beverage/Concessions – Entries in this category are for any food, beverage, or other concession item.
  • Graphics Package – Entries in this category are for any overall graphics package, whether for special events/activations or standard looks. This can include in-venue, online, print, or any combination of the above.
  • Hype/Show Open Video – Entries in this category are for any video played in-venue with the purpose to open the show, introduce the team, bring the players onto the playing field, or get fans excited just prior to the start of the game.
  • In-Game – Entries in this category are for any fan-facing experience during a game. This can include, but is not limited to, on-field games, on-screen engagement, and activations.
  • On-Screen Fan Engagement – Entries in this category are for any video played in-venue with the purpose of entertaining or engaging with the fans in attendance. This can include, but is not limited to, rally videos, fan-cams, mascot videos, PSAs, etc.
  • Overall/End-to-End – Entries in this category are for the entirety of the fan-facing experience at a game. This is from the moment fans enter the venue property to the time they leave.
  • Post-Game – Entries in this category are for any fan-facing experience after a game.
  • Pre-Game - Entries in this category are for any fan-facing experience before a game.
  • Theme Night – Entries in this category are for any gameday experience consisting of a special theme that is weaved throughout the entirety of the event. Elements of a theme night can include, but are not limited to, specialty identity and/or jerseys, giveaways, social media/brand takeovers, in-game entertainment, etc.
  • Use of Athlete – Entries in this category are for any gameday experience involving an athlete.
  • Use of Celebrity/Influencer – Entries in this category are for any gameday experience involving a celebrity or influencer.
  • Use of Lighting – Entries in this category are for the utilization of lighting to enhance the gameday experience.
  • Use of Mascot – Entries in this category are for any gameday experience involving a mascot.
  • Use of Music/Sound – Entries in this category are for the utilization of music or sound to enhance the gameday experience.
  • Use of Use of Partner or Sponsor – Entries in this category are for any gameday experience involving a partner or sponsor brand(s), individual(s), and/or organization(s).
  • Other – Entries in this category are for work that is not defined by any of the available categories.

 

Entry Fees

April 23 - June 7: $300

June 8- July 19: $350

July 20 - September 6: $400

For judging purposes, please submit your entry in English.  Non-English entries must be dubbed in English.  In addition, you must also provide an English translation in the “English-Language Translation” box on the entry form.
