Home Entertainment: Out of Home

Entries in this medium consist of any large-format advertising that reaches the consumer while they are outside of the home. This includes but is not limited to, billboards, transit, and digital outdoor advertising.

Industry Type

  • Home Entertainment- This refers to titles marketed for direct-to-consumer purchase through video-on-demand or physical media. This includes any entries promoting a broadcast, network,  streaming platform, studio, and legacy entertainment intellectual property for pay-per-view purposes.


  • Billboard - Entries in this category are large outdoor executions, usually along roadways, on rooftops, or on the sides of tall buildings. They may include printed billboards and 3D or mechanical billboards. 
  • Building Wrap - Entries in this category are for printed graphics on a building façade that would not normally be considered a billboard. 
  • Bus Shelter - Entries in this category are for one-sheets that are specifically designed for bus shelters.
  • Digital Outdoor - Entries in this category include all single outdoor digital executions. This includes motion posters & digital bus shelters.
  • Mural - Entries in this category are for murals that promote titles previously released in theaters; titles previously broadcast on network or cable channels; and direct-to-video titles.
  • Takeover - Entries in this category are for multiple out-of-home executions that take over a single location and function as a single piece. This includes digital takeovers.
  • Transit - Entries in this category are for static advertising placed on anything that moves, such as buses, subways, trains, trucks, and taxis. An in-environment photo is required for this category.
  • Wild Post - Entries in this category are for the wild posting advertising on the street level.
  • Other - Entries in this category are for work not defined by any of the available categories.


Entry Fees

Deadline 1: April 10th - June 14th: $375 (Single) | $750 (Campaign)

Deadline 2: June 15th - July 12th: $475 (Single) | $950 (Campaign)

Deadline 3: July 13th - Aug 2nd: $575 (Single) | $1,150 (Campaign)

For judging purposes, please submit your entry in English.  Non-English entries must be dubbed in English.  In addition, you must also provide an English translation in the “English-Language Translation” box on the entry form.
